What You'll Own
• The sales pipeline and bid book end-to-end: lead intake, estimation accuracy, proposal quality, close rates, and follow-up discipline
• Account growth: proactively expanding recurring revenue with existing clients across our service lines (PHC, irrigation, pest, snow, and holiday lighting upsells)
• New business acquisition, residential and commercial
• Sales metrics and CRM hygiene: accurate pipeline reporting, lead source tracking, and win/loss analysis
• Pricing discipline: working with the GM and PSG so proposals hit margin targets, not just revenue targets
• Customer experience: closing the loop between what sales promises and what operations delivers, and resolving escalations
• Sales team development: a player-coach role now, hiring and developing sales talent as growth justifies it
• Light cross-functional partnership with operations on capacity planning, route density, and seasonal staffing
Who You Are
• 5+ years in B2B and/or B2C services sales, with at least 2 in a senior individual-contributor or sales leadership role
• Green-industry experience strongly preferred: landscape maintenance, lawn care, PHC, irrigation, pest control, or adjacent home services
• A track record of building and converting a pipeline, not just managing existing relationships. We need a hunter and a farmer
• A consultative seller at heart. You bring the full picture across all eight service lines and build lasting, multi-service relationships with every client
• Stand-up to the core. Driven to grow, and equally committed to doing right by every customer, building the kind of trust that protects and extends a 40-year reputation
• Comfortable across residential, commercial property, and HOA accounts, with the relationships and savvy to grow Vita Green’s presence in community and association business
• Numbers-minded and growth-focused. You can point to year-over-year, profitable growth, read a pipeline with ease, and lead with margin as much as revenue, holding yourself and the team to it
• A genuine player-coach: you can sell today and build a team as the business grows
• Self-directed: PSG resources are there for you, but Vita Green is small and fast-moving, and the role rewards initiative
• Tech-comfortable: CRM (we run Aspire), proposal tools, and basic Excel
• Willing and able to earn the WA pesticide applicator license within your first six months. We give you the materials and schedule the exam within a couple of weeks of hire
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record, since you will operate company vehicles for client visits
Compensation and Benefits
This role starts at a base salary of $85,000 to $95,000 a year, plus commission and bonuses tied to growth, conversion, and retention. The better you sell, the more you make.
