Superior Services has been keeping Central Florida homes pest-free and lawns green since 1994. We are family-owned and based right here in Ocala, with more than 30 years in the business and an A+ rating with the BBB. A lot of folks know us by our easy-to-remember number, 1-800-Pest-Control. We started as a termite and pest company and grew into the one-stop shop we are today, handling pest, lawn, irrigation, and termite for thousands of customers across Marion, Lake, Sumter, Citrus, and the surrounding counties.

We are growing our irrigation team and looking for dependable, mechanically minded people who like solving problems and working outside. Some irrigation know-how is a plus, but it is not required. We train from the ground up.

Let's Talk Real Money

We know $15 an hour on a job board does not tell the story, so here is the full picture.

Base pay. Your base starts at $15 an hour and goes up once you have earned your own route and shown you can run it.
Overtime, every week. This is a strong-hours job for people who want the hours. Most weeks run 45 to 55 hours, and everything over 40 is paid at time and a half. A typical 50-hour week puts your base around $825 before you have sold a single thing.
Uncapped commission. You earn commission on everything you sell, 15% to start and 20% once you beat your monthly budget, with no cap.
Paid weekly. Base and commission together, every week. No waiting two weeks, and no waiting a month for your commission to show up.

Put it together and a motivated, full-time tech is realistically in the range of $50,000 to $60,000 a year and up. The ceiling is set by you, not by us!

What You Will Do

Service, troubleshoot, and repair residential irrigation systems across the Ocala area
Work with systems like Hunter, Hydrawise, and Rain Bird, and pick up any you have not used yet
Adjust and test systems for proper coverage and pressure so every lawn gets exactly the water it needs
Install new systems and components when a customer asks for them
Keep customers in the loop and answer their questions right there on site
Hand out flyers and bring in new business when you can. You earn commission on everything you sell.

What You Bring

You are comfortable working outside all day in Florida heat and humidity
You are mechanically inclined and not afraid to dig in, literally
You are reliable and steady, the kind of person customers can count on
A valid Florida driver's license and a clean driving record, since you will be in a company truck
Irrigation experience is welcome but not required. Coachable beats experienced every time.

Your Schedule

This is year-round work. Irrigation gets busiest in spring and fall when everyone switches their systems over for the season, so there is strong, steady work and plenty of overtime. Most weeks run 45 to 55 hours, with optional Saturdays when you want extra hours.
