Finance

Perennial Services Group is a national, market-leading platform of more than 37 local brands across landscaping, turf, pest control, arbor, irrigation, and plant health care, with more than 1,900 employees nationwide. Private equity backed, we partner with the founders and management teams of best-in-class home services businesses and support them with centralized marketing, sales, finance, and operations infrastructure that drives scalable, sustainable growth in premium local markets. Our mission is to be the home for the best entrepreneurs, brands, and businesses in home services: we leverage our collective resources, expertise, and passion to help our teams reach their full potential, while honoring the legacies our Partners spent decades building.

We are scaling quickly, and we are building the analytics function to match. We are looking for a Manager of Analytics to own how PSG measures and improves performance across the portfolio, and to become the person leadership turns to first when they need to understand what is happening in the business.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Manager of Data & Analytics to own how PSG measures and improves performance across more than 37 brands. This role sits at the intersection of data and execution, building the visibility infrastructure that helps our Presidents, GMs, and leadership team make faster, better decisions.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role. You will build the data infrastructure and dashboards, work directly in the data, and translate analysis into clear actions that drive measurable results across the portfolio. You will own the insight layer end to end, reporting into the VP of FP&A and working closely with a Data Engineer who is already building the data layer that powers your work.

Why Build Your Career at Perennial

Plenty of analytics roles ask you to maintain someone else's dashboards inside a rigid reporting stack. This one is the opposite. You build the analytics function, you decide how it runs, and you do it with the resources of a national platform behind you. Here is what that means day to day.

  • Real ownership, not a report factory. You own the insight layer from raw data to the actions it drives, and your fingerprints are on every dashboard and decision you shape.
  • The platform of a national company. A modern data stack on Snowflake, a Data Engineer already building the pipeline beside you, and best practices shared across more than 37 partner brands.
  • We think like owners, and so will you. PSG is a company of owners who take results personally. You will be trusted to chase down what is driving performance, surface it early, and push the fix through.
  • Support, not manage. Our model is built on collaboration, not hierarchy. Leadership is here to back you and clear the road, not to look over your shoulder, so this is a seat for someone who runs without one.
  • Equity upside, tied to what you build. Beyond your cash compensation, you share in the equity of a scaled, PE-backed platform, with upside tied to a future transaction.
  • Room to build something. PSG is growing fast and the analytics function is still taking shape. If you are energized by building visibility where little exists today, there is real room here to make your mark.

What You'll Own

Performance visibility across the portfolio

  • Build and maintain the data infrastructure and dashboards across all brands, connecting data from operating systems into a unified data layer on Snowflake that gives clear visibility into the operating and financial metrics that run the business

Insight generation and execution

  • Analyze performance across brands, regions, and channels to pinpoint what is actually driving results, then translate those insights into clear actions and work with Presidents and GMs to implement and track the improvements

Turnarounds and performance improvement

  • Support underperforming brands by identifying root causes across marketing, sales, and operations, building focused action plans, and driving them through to measurable change

AI and automation

  • Identify, test, and scale AI and automation across operations and analytics, defining success metrics, measuring impact, and making sure each initiative delivers real business value

Data quality and governance

  • Establish data consistency and reliability across brands and systems, in partnership with the Data Engineer, creating the foundation for scalable, trustworthy decision-making

What This Role Is

  • A hands-on building role. You personally build the data infrastructure, dashboards, and analysis that give leadership clear visibility across the portfolio.
  • The owner of the insight layer. You own how PSG turns data into decisions, working alongside a Data Engineer who owns the pipeline beneath you.
  • An insight-to-action seat. You move from analysis to implemented change, working directly with Presidents and GMs to drive measurable results.
  • A high-visibility role from day one. You become the first call when leadership needs to understand what is happening across the business.

What This Role Is Not

  • A passive reporting or dashboarding function. We expect you to drive insight and action, not just produce output.
  • A data engineering role. The Data Engineer owns the pipeline; you own the insight layer and what the business does with it.
  • A people-management seat. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role. You will be in the data yourself, not directing a team that is.
  • A finished, stable environment. PSG is growing rapidly and the analytics function is still being built, so this role is for someone energized by creating structure in a fast-moving organization.

What Success Looks Like in Your First Year

  • A trusted set of dashboards used across PSG to manage performance, with GMs pulling them weekly without being asked
  • Measurable improvement in data quality and consistency across brands and systems
  • At least one turnaround story: an underperforming brand with clear KPI improvement driven by your analysis and action
  • One to two AI or automation pilots that deliver tangible, documented business impact
  • Trusted relationships with Presidents, GMs, and leadership, who make you their first call when they need to understand what is happening in the business

Who You Are

  • The background. 4 to 8 years in analytics, BizOps, RevOps, or a similar function, ideally in a multi-unit, PE-backed, or high-growth environment. A consulting background is welcome but not required.
  • Hands-on data capability. Strong SQL skills and real fluency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. You are comfortable working in data warehouses and connecting data across systems, and Snowflake experience is a plus.
  • Analytical rigor and business judgment. A proven ability to move from data to insight to action, with strong problem-solving instincts and a focus on what actually drives performance.
  • Operator mindset. Experience working shoulder to shoulder with business leaders, and the ability to translate analysis into practical, implementable changes alongside Presidents and GMs.
  • Self-sufficient operator. You thrive working independently, set your own priorities, manage your own workload, and move things forward without hand-holding. You build your own structure rather than waiting to be handed one.
  • Communication and influence. A clear, concise communicator who can simplify complex analysis and build credibility with both operators and senior leadership.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation runs $125,000 to $150,000 a year including bonus, plus equity in the platform with upside tied to a future transaction.

Beyond the paycheck, the benefits are built to take care of you:

  • Health, covered the way you actually use it. Medical, dental, and vision through Cigna, with three medical plans to choose from, plus HSA and FSA options that let you set aside tax-free dollars for care.
  • A 401(k) match worth taking. A Safe Harbor 401(k) that matches up to 4 percent of your pay, with immediate 100 percent vesting. Contribute Roth or traditional, your call.
  • A safety net for the unexpected. Optional life and AD&D, short- and long-term disability, and legal coverage, all at group rates you would not get on your own.
  • Real support for real life. A free, confidential assistance program for you and your whole household, from counseling to legal and financial help, plus optional pet insurance.
  • Time to live. Paid time off and company holidays.

The Setup

  • Fully remote within the United States, with the flexibility to do your best work from a reliable home office
  • Built around a continuous build-and-improve cadence rather than a fixed monthly cycle, with the freedom to prioritize the analysis that moves the business most
  • Occasional travel to brand locations may come up as the function grows.

Ready to Turn Data Into Growth?

At PSG, you will own the analytics engine of a scaled, PE-backed platform and build a function from the ground up. You will have direct access to leadership, a clear mandate, and a data infrastructure partner already in place.

This is a rare opportunity to join a national platform at an inflection point, where data meets real-world execution, with equity upside tied to a future transaction and a clear path for growth as the business continues to expand.

If you are energized by ownership, building, and turning data into decisions that move the business, we would love to meet you. Apply today and let's talk.
