ABOUT PSG

Perennial Services Group is a rapidly growing platform of over 35 local brands spanning landscaping, turf, pest control, arbor, irrigation, and plant health care services. We support our brands with centralized marketing, sales, and operations infrastructure to drive scalable, sustainable growth in premium local markets.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Director of Integration to lead the end-to-end onboarding of newly acquired brands into the Perennial Services Group platform.

This role sits at the center of our M&A execution engine. You will own the integration process from deal underwriting through full operational onboarding, coordinating across payroll, accounting, operating software, data and analytics, and sales and marketing functions to bring each new brand onto PSG infrastructure quickly and cleanly.

PSG has an established integration process, but it has operated without a dedicated leader. This role exists to give that process the ownership, structure, and rigor it needs to scale with our acquisition activity. You will assess what is working, close the gaps, and raise the bar on how we execute integrations across the portfolio.

This is a project management role, not a technical expert role. You will not be building systems yourself. You will be driving the people, timelines, and workstreams that make integrations succeed.

You will also contribute to M&A underwriting, value creation planning, and ongoing data systems integrity across the portfolio.

The ideal candidate has deep experience managing complex, cross-functional integrations at a PE-backed platform and knows how to assess an existing process, identify what needs to change, and execute at a higher level.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Acquisition Integration Leadership
• Own the end-to-end integration process for each newly acquired brand, from deal close through full operational onboarding
• Build and manage detailed integration project plans, drive accountability across workstreams, and ensure each brand is fully transitioned onto PSG infrastructure on time and with minimal disruption

Cross-Functional Coordination
• Serve as the primary integration point between PSG's functional teams (human resources, accounting, data and analytics, and sales and marketing) and the incoming brand
• Keep all parties aligned, resolve blockers quickly, and ensure no workstream falls behind

M&A Underwriting Support
• Partner with the Head of M&A during the deal process to assess integration complexity, flag operational risks, and estimate onboarding timelines and costs
• Inform investment underwriting with integration-based assumptions

Value Creation Plan Execution
• Translate deal-level value creation plans into operational reality post-close
• Work alongside functional leads and brand Presidents to ensure integration milestones align with the initiatives and timelines that drove the investment thesis

Data Systems Integrity
• Ensure each acquired brand is onboarded onto PSG's data and analytics infrastructure accurately and completely
• Work with the analytics team to validate data quality, flag inconsistencies, and maintain the integrity of PSG's reporting environment as the portfolio grows

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Integration expertise: Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-workstream integrations at a PE-backed platform or similar environment; knows what good integration execution looks like and how to get there
• Project management discipline: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple integrations simultaneously; comfortable building and owning detailed project plans, tracking milestones, and escalating issues before they become problems
• Cross-functional influence: Able to align and drive accountability across functional teams (finance, HR, operations, technology, marketing); builds trust quickly with both internal teams and incoming brand leadership
• M&A fluency: Familiarity with deal processes, investment underwriting, and value creation planning; able to engage credibly with deal teams and translate deal-level assumptions into operational integration requirements
• Background: 7 to 10 plus years of experience in M&A integration, operations, or a related field; experience at a PE-backed multi-site or multi-brand platform strongly preferred
• Communication and stakeholder management: Clear, structured communicator who can keep executives informed and functional teams aligned; comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with multiple stakeholders

WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT

• Not a technical build role: you will not be configuring software or building systems yourself
• Not a purely deal-side role: the focus is on execution and onboarding, not transaction origination
• Not a siloed function: you will be deeply embedded across the business

This is a high-visibility, high-accountability role for someone who thrives on getting things across the finish line in complex, fast-moving environments.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN YEAR 1

• Assess PSG's existing integration process, identify gaps, and codify an upgraded playbook that covers all functional workstreams
• Successfully lead the full integration of multiple acquired brands onto PSG infrastructure, on time and with high data quality
• Establish strong working relationships with functional leads across PSG and become the go-to integration resource for the M&A team
• Contribute to deal underwriting and value creation planning on active M&A processes, with integration assumptions that are credible and actionable

• Ensure newly integrated brands are reporting cleanly and consistently into PSG's analytics environment
• Become a trusted partner to the COO and Head of M&A, with a track record of delivering clean, on-time integrations that set brands up for success on the PSG platform

COMPENSATION

$130,000 to $150,000 base salary, commensurate with experience, plus bonus eligibility. Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA, 401(k) with company match, life and disability coverage, PTO and much more.
