About the Position
Portage Turf is seeking an experienced Irrigation Manager to oversee our irrigation division. Lead installation and service teams while ensuring the delivery of high-quality irrigation solutions for residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities
• Manage irrigation installation and service operations
• Lead, train, and schedule irrigation technicians
• Design irrigation systems and prepare proposals
• Oversee project installations from start to finish
• Conduct system diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Ensure quality standards and customer satisfaction
• Manage inventory and equipment maintenance
• Coordinate spring start-ups and fall winterizations
• Stay current on irrigation technology and best practices
Qualifications
• 5+ years of irrigation experience with management background
• Certified Irrigation Contractor or Designer preferred
• Strong technical knowledge of irrigation systems and components
• Leadership and team development skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Proficiency in irrigation design software
• Valid driver's license required
